Kudzai Makoni

Mr. Kudzai Makoni is a seasoned professional in consultancy work, having been a fulltime evaluative research consultant from June 2000 to date. Currently completing his PhD in Public Health, Mr. Makoni holds a Master's degree in Child and Family Studies, Honors degree in Psychology, and Certificates of completion in (a) Multi-Methods Research and (b) Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL). His leading fields of interest that he is masterfully conversant with include Public Health, Child Protection, Disability inclusion and Sustainable Livelihoods. However, when it comes to social science research he is flexible to apply his expertise across many themes.

During is 21-year spell as a fulltime consultant he has taken his skills to 13 countries, completing 128 evaluative research consultancy assignments in the process. His outstanding documentation skills distinguish him and have seen him presiding over the production of not just the conventional deliverables such as technical reports, but video documentaries, policy briefs, position papers and local language summaries of research reports for VAL!Data Research clients. He has further used data to produce project proposals for VAL!Data Research clients, enabling them to add value to their work in local communities.
